These tablets work best when taken on an empty stomach, with a little heartburn at the end of treatment. Nexium Control 20mg Tablets relaxes the muscular blood vessels, increases blood supply to the stomach and reduces acid production. These tablets should last between 24 and 46 hours, depending on the strength and schedule of your treatment. Adults and children over 12 years: take one tablet a day for 5 days. Do not use more than 3 x 20mg tablets a day.
